A common issue on GU2-On wagons when running diff push alongside diff guards or bracing, is contact between the panhard and diff pumpkin. Repeated contact can put excessive force through panhard bushes and fatigue welds to the point of failure. This problem is further exacerbated when running standard length radius arms and long travel shocks, because the smaller arc of travel results in even more diff push during articulation.

PSR has developed a chassis spacer that allows the earlier non-spherical bearing GQ-GU1 panhard to be fitted and offset forward in the chassis slot, giving the required clearance to avoid contacting the pumpkin or diff guard/brace.

Another advantage of this conversion is the significantly lower maintenance cost of replacing the chassis bush with a Genuine Nissan rubber bush (See PSRBUSH-023) compared to the spherical bearing (See PSRBUSH-025) that’s usually used.

NOTE: If a light-duty or factory panhard rod with a fixed damper mount is fitted, you will need to purchase our u-bolt style damper mount. (See PSRAPR-028-BRACKET)
